Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
1. Navik (General Duty - GD)
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics from a recognized education board.
Age Limit: Candidates must be born between 01 September 2003 to 31 August 2007 (both dates inclusive). Age relaxation for reserved categories as per government rules.
2. Navik (Domestic Branch - DB)
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th standard from a recognized education board.

Indian Coast Guard Application Fee 2025
General / OBC / EWS Candidates: ₹300/-
SC / ST Candidates: Exempted (No Fee)

Indian Coast Guard Selection Process 2025
The recruitment process for Navik (GD) & Navik (DB) will consist of four stages:
Stage 1: Written Examination
Navik (GD): The exam will include Mathematics, Physics, English, General Knowledge, Reasoning, and Current Affairs.
Navik (DB): The exam will include Mathematics, Science, English, General Awareness, and Reasoning.
Stage 2: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Document Verification
Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for the PFT, which consists of:
1.6 km run in 7 minutes
20 squat-ups (Uthak Baithak)
10 push-ups
Stage 3: Medical Examination
Candidates who qualify in the PFT will undergo a medical examination as per Coast Guard medical standards.
Candidates should have minimum height of 157 cm, well-proportioned weight, and good eyesight (6/6 vision in one eye and 6/9 in the other without glasses).
Stage 4: Final Merit List & Training
A final merit list will be prepared based on performance in written test, PFT, and medical examination.
Selected candidates will be called for training at INS Chilka.
